Josefina Jayne Decrow - Josie for short

We have a new baby! She is a black lab who was born on August 22, 2009. We have had a couple of great weeks with our little lady. Abby is enjoying the training and Jack can't stay far enough away. I have spent my nights reading the "family dog" the Monks of New Skete and internet resources on training our little pup. Thanks to our neighborhood girls, Josie is able to get out and play after they get off the bus.

Lubec 2009

We made a family trip to Lubec to lay Gram Corey to rest. We stayed at Sunset Trailer Park right on the point of the campground. It was a great view, but we had horrible weather. The campground had a private pond stocked with rainbow trout. These fish were as big around as my calf. HUGE FISH! Abby found her first geocache at Quoddy Head State Park. Mom, Tara, Scott, Cathy and I were able to tour the top of the Quoddy Head Light House.

Upper Lead Mountain Pond

We had a day trip to our potentially new camp on Upper Lead Mountain Pond. It was a beautful warm day. The kids kicked around in the water, Grannie & Grampy hung around with the kids while Jake and I went for a four-wheeler ride around the lake. It was a beautiful day!

Jack's Potty Training

Jack has taken an interest in potty training! We are wearing big boy briefs all day. YEAH! Number one is best standing up, but we haven't had a number two yet. We also was visited by the pacifier fairy! She traded my pacifiers for a play doh set. What fun!

Jack's first number 2 experience

Jack pooped on a toilet for the first time at Swimtime while we were at Abby's swim lesson! Crazy time to decide to use the toilet for the first time, hopefully his interest will continue.

Abby Has Lost Her 7th Tooth!

Imagine, a kindergartner who has lost 7 teeth. She has stolen her brother's nickname "jack-o-lantern"! Tooth Fairy still found her even though she spent the night at Grannie & Grampy's house!
